Today, however, the focus has shifted to wildlife conservation and eco-tourism. Spotting all five during a safari in the Serengeti is a thrilling experience, as they each showcase unique behaviors and contribute to the ecosystem. Observing these majestic animals in their natural habitat offers an unforgettable adventure and a deeper appreciation for Africa's rich wildlife.

Note: All our 7-day Africa wildlife safaris and tours include the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. This specific safari itinerary is designed for visitors who have more time for an extended adventure. It also includes Tarangire National Park, providing a comprehensive Tanzanian northern circuit safari experience while minimizing non-game-viewing travel time.

Itinerary

  • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Morning Glory team member will greet you and transfer you to your hotel, lodge, or hostel for overnight accommodation. Your head guide will meet you there for a briefing, gear check, and to assist with any equipment rentals you may need.

  • Early in the morning, after breakfast and with your packed lunch, drive to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Omega View Lodge or a similar hotel.

  • After breakfast, with your packed lunch in hand, embark on an en route game drive to the Serengeti. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Tukaone Tented Lodge.

  • Early morning, before breakfast, enjoy a thrilling game drive in the Serengeti. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, with your lunch box packed, continue your game drive until the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Seronera Campsite or Katikati Tented Lodge.

  • After breakfast, take your lunch box and set out for a game drive in the Serengeti. In the late afternoon, drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Wild Palm Lodge or a similar hotel.

  • After breakfast, with your lunch box prepared, embark on a game drive at Ngorongoro Crater. In the late afternoon, drive to Omega View Lodge or a similar hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Early in the morning, shortly after breakfast, you will join the Hadzabe people (Bushmen) for a hunting excursion. After the hunt, return to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon, visit a local blacksmith, then drive to Omega View Lodge or a similar hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, with your lunch box ready, enjoy a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha.

  • It's time to say goodbye, friend! Check out of your lodging and enjoy a convenient transfer to the airport. We hope to see you again soon!
