Safety Measures Against COVID-19

Understanding COVID-19 Symptoms:

  • We recognize the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic and are dedicated to safeguarding our clients against its risks. Understanding the symptoms is key to early detection and prevention.

  • Symptoms may include fever, persistent cough, difficulty breathing, fatigue, headache, body aches, severe vomiting, chills, loss of smell, and sore throat.

Preventive Measures:

  • We have implemented stringent preventive measures to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission during our adventures.

  • Sanitization: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, all clients are provided with hand sanitizer to ensure their safety throughout the journey.

  • Transportation and Accommodation: Our vehicles, offices, hotels, lodges, and hostels undergo thorough sanitization after each use, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

  • Provision of Masks: Disposable masks are provided to all clients upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and are replaced regularly during the journey.

  • Social Distancing: To minimize congestion, porters precede the group, and clients walk only with guides during the trip. At campsites, clients are assisted in handwashing with hot water and special soap.

  • Personal Hygiene: We advise against sharing dishes and glasses, promoting individual hygiene to prevent the spread of infection.

  • Mitigating Risks: We have modified certain practices, such as refraining from handshakes and communal singing, to reduce the risk of droplet transmission.

  • Prompt Assistance: If experiencing difficulty breathing, clients are urged to seek immediate assistance from the Chief Guide for prompt evaluation and support.

Differentiating Symptoms:

  • It's important to note that symptoms of mountain sickness may mimic those of COVID-19. If experiencing any discomfort, clients should consult the Chief Guide for assessment and appropriate action.

At Morning Glory Adventure, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We remain vigilant and proactive in implementing measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure for all our clients!
